Primal Elements Series
This recent body of work explores my sensory and emotional responses to nature’s essential elements: earth, air, fire, and water all of which play a prominent role in our lives. The paintings are both physical and metaphorical in nature with emphasis placed on process and materials. The works reference such universal themes as impermanence, transformation, and renewal which are present in both nature and the ever-changing human condition.
