Works of Art Inspired by Nature

The luminous multilayered paintings of Gail Edmonds may be described as abstract visual narratives documenting specific passages in time and place. Inspired by the ever-changing landscape and spiritual energy of the American Southwest, her work seeks to connect our physical experience to that of the soul.

Primal Elements

This recent body of work explores my sensory and emotional responses to nature’s essential elements: earth, air, fire and water. The works are both physical and metaphorical in nature placing emphasis on process and materials.

Journey

This ongoing body of work explores my own personal journey through various stages of life…each painting becoming an abstract visual narrative documenting a specific passage in time.

Time Passages

This timeless body of work documents my visual, sensory, and emotional responses to the mystical archaeological sites of the Four Corners region in the American Southwest.
